Inspired by Latin America’s rich and vibrant culture, CasaLatina is devoted to celebrating life around the table. Elegant and functional pottery, hand-painted crockery, eclectic hand-carved accessories and stunning basketry - every item is thoughtfully handmade.

We follow an ethical production model that has developed its own supply chain, fostering ancestral techniques and working in collaboration with a talented team of artisans to co-design and handcraft our range. As a result, each one of our pieces is 100% handmade and responsibly sourced from the magical lands of our childhoods

Deeply ingrained in the fabric of Colombian and Venezuelan communities lies a treasure trove of Andean, Caribbean, Pacific, African and Amazonian ancestral craft techniques, passed down through generations as an essential element of their identity and culture. However, a lack of demand coupled with a dearth of innovation pose a significant threat to their continuity. As proud torchbearers of these legacies, we move to showcase them on a global stage, preserving and nourishing them for generations to come.​

Each and every piece in our collection is a co-creation between artisan and designer. We forge profound connections with our supplier artisans, fostering relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and mutual respect. Their well-being is our priority, we pay a fair price for their work and offer extended lead times that alleviate undue pressure. Moreover, we stand by their side when life's natural hardships arise, offering grants and advance payments. Together, we embrace a shared purpose that binds us inextricably.

Environmental responsibility lies at the core of our mission. We hand-make our products using local, natural materials, tracing each item back to its creator. Through sustainable packaging and sea shipping, we prioritise reducing waste, even if it means longer delivery times. As mothers we believe we must leave a better world to our children, and are committed do our part to keep the planet healthy and thriving.
