Camelia Placemat

Handwoven from natural iraca palm in the artisan town of Usiacurí, our Camelia Placemat forms part of CasaLatina’s Organic Shapes Capsule, alongside the Cayena and Hoja designs. Sculpted in the silhouette of a camellia flower, Camelia brings graceful symmetry and quiet drama to the table.

Its distinctive petalled form is made possible by the traditional internal wire structure characteristic of Usiacurí craftsmanship. This concealed framework allows artisans to shape the palm fibres into elegant curves while ensuring lasting structure and durability.

Presented in a rich Deep Terracotta, Camelia adds warmth and depth to any tablescape. Particularly suited to smaller tables or layered place settings, its organic shape creates visual impact without overwhelming the space.
