Handwoven in the artisan town of Usiacurí, the base of our Nubia Placemat is crafted using the traditional Mimbre weave — a technique renowned for its structured cane pattern and enduring strength. This intricate weave creates a refined interplay of texture and symmetry, offering a contemporary rectangular silhouette that brings balance and architectural elegance to the table.

Framing the woven centre is a delicately hand-crocheted border in organic cotton thread, meticulously crafted by our in-house team of artisans. This soft, tactile edging introduces contrast and subtle movement, beautifully offsetting the structured geometry of the Mimbre weave.

Available in Natural with Green crochet or Natural with Black crochet, Nubia allows for versatile styling — from fresh botanical accents to striking monochrome refinement.
