Hoja Palma Placemat

Handwoven from natural iraca palm in the artisan town of Usiacurí, our Hoja Placemat completes CasaLatina’s Organic Shapes Capsule, alongside the Cayena and Camelia designs. Shaped in the flowing silhouette of a Monstera leaf, Hoja captures the lush spirit of the tropics in a refined, contemporary form.

As with traditional Usiacurí weaving, its distinctive outline is achieved through an internal wire structure — allowing artisans to sculpt the palm into its organic leaf shape while maintaining durability and structure.

Presented in a vibrant Green, Hoja brings freshness and movement to the table. Its compact proportions make it particularly well suited to smaller tables, informal gatherings or layered settings. Lightweight, sustainably sourced and entirely handwoven, it frames our hand-painted plates and bowls perfectly, adding natural texture and sculptural interest. Discover the full collection here.
