The Trompo Lluvia Werregue Vase is a sculptural expression of rainforest heritage, handcrafted as part of our Pacífico Werregue tabletop range. Its low, rounded silhouette evokes the form of a spinning top — trompo — while the intricate black and white weaving carries the symbolic Lluvia pattern, representing rainfall in the lush forests where the Wounaan communities originate.
Woven entirely by hand on Colombia’s Pacific coast, each vase is created by Wounaan artisans — known as the “people of the rainforest” — whose ancestral weaving techniques transform sustainably sourced Werregue palm into works of profound cultural significance.
Striking as a standalone decorative object, it can also be styled as a small plant pot or used to hold dried stems, bringing texture and narrative depth to any interior.
Part of a limited edition of just 12 pieces, this vase is both collectible and timeless.
