The Chamba Sauceboat, traditionally known as an Ajicera, is a staple on Colombian tables — the vessel used to serve freshly made ají, chimichurri and vibrant homemade sauces. Small in scale yet rich in heritage, it brings authenticity and character to every meal.

Handcrafted in La Chamba from natural black clay and burnished by hand with agate stone, its deep black tone and soft sheen are achieved without glazes or toxins. A refined finishing touch for both everyday dining and generous gatherings, it pairs seamlessly with the full Chamba collection.

Handmade from natural, non-toxic black clay, Chamba pieces are made to be used and cherished.

Before first use: Cure by filling to 3/4 with boiling water, placing in a hot oven, and heating for about 30-45 minutes. Allow to cool fully before washing.
Use: Oven-safe and suitable for open flame. Not compatible with induction. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
Care: Hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe. Restore sheen by wiping with white wine vinegar.

Crafted using ancestral techniques, each piece will develop its own rich character over time.
