A celebration of Colombian culinary tradition, the Chamba Gallinita Cocotte is shaped in the form of a hen — a beloved vessel traditionally used to prepare ajiaco, Bogotá's iconic chicken and potato soup. Both functional and full of character, it honours centuries of heritage while bringing warmth and personality to the modern kitchen.

Handcrafted in La Chamba from natural black clay and polished by hand with agate stone, its rich tone comes from the earth itself. The fitted lid retains heat and flavour, making it ideal for slow-cooked broths, stews and generous family meals. A statement piece that moves from flame or oven to the table with ease.

Handmade from natural, non-toxic black clay, Chamba pieces are made to be used and cherished.

Before first use: Cure by filling to 3/4 with boiling water, placing in a hot oven, and heating for about 30-45 minutes. Allow to cool fully before washing.
Use: Oven-safe and suitable for open flame. Not compatible with induction. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
Care: Hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe. Restore sheen by wiping with white wine vinegar.

Crafted using ancestral techniques, each piece will develop its own rich character over time.
